Psychology Assessment

Comprehensive psychology assessments help us to gain valuable and “objective” information about individual’s abilities, behaviour, characteristics, or their cognitive or academic functioning. Assessment procedure often involves clinical interview, clinical observation, gathering developmental history, self-report measures, and standardised psychological testing. Assessment is particularly useful for the purpose of making diagnosis, treatment recommendations, and to access further support from government.

At i-Fit Group, our Psychologists can administer the following assessments:

Cognitive (Intelligence) assessment

  • Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC) – 6 to 16 years old
  • Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS) – 6 to 90 year old
Cognitive (Intelligence) assessment

ADHD Assessment

Academic (Learning) assessment

  • Wechsler Individual Achievement Test (WIAT) – 4 to 50 years 11 months
Academic (Learning) assessment

Cognitive or intelligence assessments are helpful in exploring any developmental concerns and to assess their general intellectual ability. Academic assessment helps us to understand the child’s academic abilities compared to their grade-expected level and assess whether the child is reaching their full academic potential given their cognitive profile. Theses assessments also helps parents and teachers to identify the child’s strengths and challenges.
